COLORADO!

Last week I travelled out on a 10 hour plane to the US for some training! I am staying in an appartment a walk away from the Breckenridge chairlifts with Aimee, Basa, Margot, Cheryl and Lesley! The first couple of days were super warm and bluebird and even though the jet lag was kicking in, we were all loving it.

Breckenridge!!!

It's always nice to have some fresh air...even at night time!!!

When the weather turned sour we entertained ourselves by buying a large sheet of paper and some children's crayons for less than a dollar and then me, Basa and Aimee drew the Roxy team. I think we should all become proffessional artists 'NOT!'

The weather is bluebird and warm again, so this week is going to be great!!!

2 comps, cycling and a Big party!!!

So the first comp I did was at Milton Keynes for the FBBB trickbusters. It was such a fun competition and the set-up was great! The night consisted of a 1 hour warm up, a one hour jam and then the final which was a 'pull the trick out of a hat' fianl! The final was great as I learnt loads of new tricks I never even considered trying!!! After an eventful night, I walked out with £200 as I came 1st overall!

The 2nd comp was on Friday at Hemel for the Whitelines Rail Jam. The set-up here was also really good and it was great to see two decent jumps. It was a two hour jam and then a 40 minute jam session final. The final was mainly on the street rail and the gaspipe. I was pretty stoked to come 1st overall, winning £50 and a free subscription to Whitelines Magazine!!! Another fun night.

I also spent the day Cycling at Lady Bower Reservoir...

Me Cycling!!!

There was also a very tame sheep...

and it seemed to like my dad!!!

Me and the Family!!!

It took about 3 hours to cycle all the way around the Reservoir; but it was so much fun!!!

Week in Biarritz!!!

Last week I spent the week in Biarritz! It was a great experience and I met lots of new poeple. The weather was nearly always sunny so I came home with some major tan-lines! There was always a great atmosphere down at the beach and I was stoked to get a VIP pass.
It was also great to meet the UK Roxy surfers and Lois ( skateboarder) and we all stayed in a big typical french house...

I did some surfing and it was so much fun. On one of the days, Me , Aimee and Lesley went to a Surfboard factory and to the Roxy Eyewear office. I got some super cool sunglasses!

When the weather was bad, Me, Aimee, Lois, Michelle and Lesley went down to the main Roxy office. It was so BIG and it was great to see how everything gets done.

The last night was spent at the Roxy 20th Birthday Party. It was phenominal as you could get as much food as you want and my personal favourite was the fruit.

Here is a picture of the Uk Roxy team, Peony, Lois, Aimee, Holly, Sophie, Gaby and me...

The beach and Roxy tents...

It was great to hang out with someone my own age, Peony.

It was such a fun week and I hope I can go again!!! :)

Biarritz!

DAY 1-
After waking up at half 4 in the morning to catch a 6:20am plane, we finally got to Biarritz. The weaher was sunny and really hot. After a bit of surfing on small waves which were fun to me, I finished the day with a Margherita pizza and a chocolate cake. Yuuuummm!!!

day 2-
I woke up early for a fitness session led by Lesley Mckenna. It was a 20 minute jog to the bottom of hundreds of stairs and then...I ran up the stairs 4 times and almost died!!!

Although it was hard work...I felt so much fitter afterwards!

Then we went to a surf factory and the Roxy eyewear office! I finnished off the day by getting drenched to my skin with rain whilst walking to a cafe!

Such a fun day! :)

Fun week in Les Deux Alpes!!!

Last week I was in Deux Alpes. It was such a fun week and these are a few pictures...

Me on the wall-ride

We hired the trampoline and I had a go on the tramp board!!!

We had a hip session, however...I couldn't get the speed to get over it so Aimee came up with a plan which was using her hoodie as a launch machine and I finally got over it!!! Here is a video...

It was such an amazing week and when the weather was bad...BACK FLIP DAY!!!

Now I am off to Biarritz for the Roxy Jam, the womens world pro surfing championships. Come back to my blog for an update on that :)

thanks to Dan Wakeham at One snowboarding for the video and pictures.
